TL;DR. Jones (getjones.com) is an insurance compliance platform for commercial real estate and construction. It collects certificates, endorsements and full policies, and pairs AI with insurance specialists who review them. Contracts Connected is built only for construction: it sends the subcontract, collects every document the vendor owes against it, and shows who can mobilize and who can be paid. Pick Jones if you want people reviewing every certificate; pick Contracts Connected if the certificate is one line on a contract package.
Every fact about Jones below comes from Jones’s own website, read on November 4, 2026. Contracts Connected is our product. We say where Jones is the better choice, and we hold our own product to the same standard.

Where Jones is the better pick
- You want people reviewing every certificate. Jones pairs AI with insurance specialists, and its Operator plan adds a dedicated specialist who handles the work with you.
- You want the full policy read, not only the certificate. Jones collects and reviews full policies from vendors and tenants to find exclusions and restrictions.
- You manage properties and tenants too. Jones serves property managers and owners as well as general contractors, so one team can track tenant and vendor insurance in one place.
- You want compliance inside your ERP. Jones names integrations with Procore, CMiC, Vista Viewpoint, Sage, MRI and Yardi. Its Vista integration can make payments contingent on a vendor’s compliance status.
- You want vendors to upload without an account. Jones uses no-login upload links.
Where Contracts Connected is the better pick
- The certificate belongs to a contract. In Contracts Connected the insurance requirement comes from the project, the certificate is tied to the vendor’s subcontract, and an expired COI keeps that vendor from being cleared to mobilize.
- You collect more than insurance. Lien waivers with every pay application and weekly certified payroll on prevailing wage jobs live in the same vendor file as the COI. We didn’t find either on Jones’s site.
- You send the contract too. Contracts are built on your own templates with the project’s data entered once, routed through your approvals, sent as one package and signed inside. E-signatures are built in. No separate signing app.
- You want your own team to make the call. The AI reads the certificate and recommends. Your team accepts or rejects, and the deficiency notice is drafted for you to edit and send.
- You want a published starting price. Foundation starts at $416 a month. Jones quotes its pricing.
What they share
Both read the certificate and its endorsements against a requirement instead of only watching the expiration date. Both are free for vendors. Both work alongside Procore rather than replacing it. If you’re comparing the wider field of certificate tools, our COI tracking software guide covers eight of them.
How we compared
We read Jones’s home page, pricing page, general contractor page, Platform, Operator, policy review and network pages, and its Procore, CMiC, Vista Viewpoint, Sage and MRI integration pages on November 4, 2026. We recorded what each says about documents, review, AI, integrations and pricing. Where Jones’s site didn’t mention a feature, we wrote “not found on their site” rather than claiming it doesn’t exist. Accuracy and turnaround figures are Jones’s own. We didn’t use review sites or other vendors’ comparison pages. Our co-founder ran a large federal general contracting firm for 15 years, about 100,000 documents a year.
Frequently asked questions
Is Jones built for construction?
Jones serves commercial real estate and construction. It names general contractors and homebuilders alongside property managers, owners and insurance brokers. Contracts Connected is built only for construction contracts and the documents behind them.
Does Jones use people or AI to review a COI?
Both. Jones says AI agents analyze insurance documents and its insurance specialists provide the judgment, and it states 99.73% accuracy and a full audit in under 24 hours. In Contracts Connected the AI reads and recommends, and your own team accepts or rejects.
Does Jones track lien waivers and certified payroll?
We didn’t find lien waivers or certified payroll on Jones’s site as of November 4, 2026. Contracts Connected collects both, in the same vendor file as the certificate of insurance.
Can Jones send subcontracts for signature?
We didn’t find contract creation or e-signature on Jones’s site. Jones extracts insurance requirements from contracts. In Contracts Connected the subcontract is built on your template, approved, sent and signed inside the same system.
Which one integrates with Procore?
Jones names Procore, with compliance status syncing to Procore every night, plus CMiC, Vista Viewpoint, Sage 300, Sage Intacct, MRI, Yardi Voyager and Prism. Contracts Connected works out each integration with the customer, case by case, for the project management and accounting systems they run.
How much does Jones cost?
Jones doesn’t publish prices. Its site says pricing is per vendor or tenant record per year, with unlimited certificates for each record. Contracts Connected’s Foundation plan starts at $416 a month with unlimited vendors; see pricing.
Do vendors need an account?
Jones vendors upload through no-login links. Contracts Connected vendors set up a free account from the link in their email and never pay, not to register, not to upload, not to sign.
