Platform · E-signatures

Construction e-signature software: built in, no separate signing app.

The vendor signs the subcontract in the same place they fill out and upload everything else. If they want changes, they mark it up right there, and your signer countersigns once it’s worked out.

In one paragraph

Construction e-signature software means you stop sending the contract through a signing app and chasing the W-9 and COI over email. In Contracts Connected it all comes back on one link, redlines and signatures included.

How a contract gets signed

Filled out and signed in one system. Even the redlines.

02Mark it up

Redlines get worked out in the contract.

The vendor marks up the contract right in the app, and you accept, reject or revise each change. Anything you reject comes out, and anything you accept gets both sides’ initials.

03Signed

Straight from redlines to signatures.

There’s nothing to reissue. The vendor signs, then your signer countersigns in the order you set once, and the fully executed copy is read-only.

ThenFiled and tracked

Your whole team sees the same record.

Every signed document lands in the job’s records, named the way you file them, and the tracker shows where every vendor stands. Your PM, accounting and contracts all see the same thing.

"We are able to issue subcontract agreements in a fraction of the time it took previously. Having all our contract templates in the system and all our contract documents in one consolidated place really keeps things smooth and efficient."

AI-first. AI optional.

The AI does as much as you let it. It never signs for you.

It's one setting for the whole account, and you can change it any time. Whatever you pick, only your signers sign.

Do it yourself · No AI

Your team runs it.

Contracts go out, get signed in order and file themselves. No AI model touches your documents.

Done with you · The AI reads

The AI reads it before you sign.

It explains each change the vendor asks for, in plain words, before anyone signs. Your signer makes the call.

Done for you · The AI agent

Your AI agent chases the signatures.

It sends for signature once your approvals are in and nudges whoever it’s waiting on. It never signs for you.

Questions people ask about e-signatures

The ones that come up on demos, and how we answer them.

Does the vendor have to download anything or pay?
No. Vendors set up a free account from the link in their email and sign right in the browser, on a computer or a phone. They never pay to register, upload or sign.
Who signs, and in what order?
You set it once: the vendor’s signer first, then your authorized signer. Every subcontract follows it, so nobody rebuilds a signing order for each job.
Do we still email vendors for the W-9 and COI?
No. The W-9 and COI are on the same link as the subcontract, and the portal reminds vendors Monday and Wednesday mornings until everything’s in.
What if the vendor wants changes before signing?
They hit Request changes and mark up the contract in the app. You accept, reject or revise each change. Rejected changes come out and accepted ones get both sides’ initials, so there’s nothing to void or send again.
Can anyone change the contract after it’s signed?
No. Once both sides sign, the fully executed copy is read-only and filed with the job.
Do we still need DocuSign?
No! Electronic signature is built in on every plan, so everything you send through Contracts Connected gets signed right where it was sent and worked out.
Can the AI sign for us?
No. Only the people you set as signers can sign, and each one confirms it’s them with a code sent to their email. On Done for you, the AI agent sends contracts for signature and follows up, but it never signs.
