Solutions · AI contract management

AI contract management software for contractors: from the first draft to the final lien waiver.

Your AI agent drafts each contract from the award email, on your template, and sends it once your approvals are in. Then it reads what each vendor sends back, chases what’s missing and files it all through closeout.

AI contract management software for construction reads, tracks and manages every contract and compliance document from award to closeout. In Contracts Connected the AI explains each change a vendor makes to your contract and reads everything vendors send back against the job’s requirements. Your AI agent drafts contracts on your templates, sends them after your approvals and chases what’s missing, from the COI and W-9 to the final lien waiver. Your PM sees who’s cleared to mobilize and to be paid. The AI is one setting you can turn off.

How it works

Once the contract is out, the paperwork starts. You decide how much the AI does.

01Done with you · The AI reads

What comes back is read the moment it lands.

Everything a vendor sends is read against the job’s requirements, and the AI tells you what’s short and why. It drafts the note to the vendor, and you decide.

Without the AIYour team checks it with the requirements beside it, and the reminders chase the fix.

02Done for you · The AI agent

What’s missing gets chased until it’s in.

Your AI agent works from its own email address and phone number. It asks for what’s missing or expiring, answers vendors, files what arrives and tells your PM who’s cleared to mobilize and to be paid.

Without the AIThe Monday and Wednesday reminders go out on their own, and your team follows up.

03Done with you · The company brain

Ask what you agreed to. See the clause.

Every contract, document and message on every job is in one private index. Ask a question, and the answer opens the document with the exact words highlighted.

Without the AIEvery document is filed under your naming, so your team opens the contract and finds the clause.

ThenOn the record

Everything the AI does is on the record.

Every read, request, reminder and send is logged with who and when, under a person’s name or the AI agent’s. When someone asks who approved what, you pull the log.

AI-first. AI optional.

The AI does as much as you let it. Or nothing at all.

It's one setting for the whole account, and you can change it any time.

Do it yourself · No AI

Your team runs it.

Templates, approvals, signatures, reminders, the tracker and the record all work without the AI. No AI model touches your documents.

Done with you · The AI reads

The AI reads and drafts. You decide.

It explains each change a vendor makes to your contract, reads every document against the job, drafts the notes to vendors and answers from the company brain. People make every decision.

Done for you · The AI agent

Your AI agent does the work.

From its own email address and phone number it drafts contracts, sends them once your approvals are in, chases what’s missing and answers vendors. Human in the loop or Auto mode.

Questions people ask about AI contract management

The ones that come up on demos, and how we answer them.

What is AI contract management software for construction?
Software that reads, tracks and manages every contract and compliance document from award to closeout.
What’s the difference between AI contract management and AI contract review?
AI contract review usually means a tool that reads one contract for risk before anyone signs. AI contract management covers the whole contract and everything after it: drafting, approvals, redlines, signatures and the documents each vendor owes, through the final lien waiver. In Contracts Connected the AI explains each change a vendor makes to your contract. See redlines and subcontract management software.
What can AI do in construction contract management?
That depends on the level you pick. On Done with you, the AI explains each change a vendor makes to your contract, reads every document a vendor sends, tells you what’s short and drafts the notes to vendors. On Done for you, your AI agent also drafts contracts from an email, sends them once your approvals are in, chases what’s missing, answers vendors and files what arrives. On Do it yourself, no AI touches your documents.
Can AI check the documents vendors send, not just the contract?
Yes. What a vendor sends is read against the job’s requirements, and the AI tells you what’s short and why. The vendor uploads it all on one link, and lien waivers are checked by your AI agent on Done for you. See vendor compliance tracking.
Can an AI agent chase subcontractors for missing documents?
Yes. Your AI agent emails and texts the vendor from its own address and number. It asks for what’s missing or expiring, whatever the job requires: the COI, W-9, license, bonds, lien waivers and, on prevailing wage jobs, weekly certified payroll. It answers their questions and files what arrives. In Human in the loop, a person approves every message it sends. See AI agent for construction contract administration and subcontractor compliance software.
Do we still need a contract administrator?
Yes. The AI multiplies what your contracts team can do. They set the requirements, approve what goes out and make the calls that need a person. The AI does the reading, typing and chasing in between.
Can ChatGPT review a construction contract?
It can summarize one, but a general AI chat answers from what it learned somewhere else and can’t show you where anything came from. In Contracts Connected the AI explains each change a vendor makes to your contract, and the company brain answers only from your own documents, with the exact words highlighted. See can AI review a construction contract.
Is it safe to put our contracts into an AI tool?
It depends on the tool. In Contracts Connected your documents aren’t kept at the AI model vendor and aren’t used to train models. Everything is hosted in the U.S. on AWS with SOC 2 Type II, and one setting turns the AI off for the whole account.
How much does AI contract management software cost?
Contracts Connected starts at $416 a month on Foundation, with unlimited users and vendors. Core and Max add approval routing and are priced on a call. The AI sits on top of any plan and is optional. Do it yourself has no AI and costs nothing extra. Done with you starts with $500 of credits that the AI draws on as it reads documents. Done for you is the AI agent plus credits, priced on a call. Integrations, Weekly Certified Payroll and the COI Analyzer are add-ons, all included on Max. See plans and pricing.
Does AI contract management software work with project management and accounting software?
Ours does. We integrate with the systems you already run, from project management to accounting and ERP, whether that’s Procore, Sage, Deltek Costpoint or something else. Each integration is worked out with you, case by case, and built and improved as you need it. It sits beside Procore rather than replacing it. See integrations.
Does AI contract management handle flow-down clauses and prevailing wage?
Yes. The clauses you flow down live in your own subcontract template, so every subcontract carries them, and if a vendor marks one up, the AI explains the change before you accept or reject it. On prevailing wage jobs, each vendor’s certified payroll comes in weekly and is checked against the wage determination. See contract creation.
Can AI write a construction contract?
It drafts on your own template, whether that’s a subcontract, a purchase order, a work order or a design agreement. Enter the project once, or have your PM email the award to your AI agent, and the contract fills in with nothing left blank. It goes out only after your approvals. See contract creation.
