For federal contractors and 8(a) firms

Subcontractor compliance software for federal contractors: certified payroll, CMMC status and bonds from every vendor.

Every vendor on a federal job owes you more paper: weekly certified payroll, its CMMC status on DoD work, bonds and the SF-1413. Contracts Connected collects it all, checks it and keeps the record a contracting officer asks for.

In one paragraph

Subcontractor compliance software for federal contractors collects and tracks what a prime needs from every vendor: weekly certified payroll (WH-347) on prevailing wage jobs, each vendor’s CMMC status on DoD work, bonds, the SF-1413 and lien waivers. Contracts Connected sends the subcontract on your own template, collects every document back through the vendor portal, chases what’s late every Monday and Wednesday, and files it audit-ready, so the record is there when a contracting officer or an auditor asks.

01Subcontracts on your paper

Your subcontract, your clauses, filled in once.

Every subcontract fills from your own template and the project, the clauses you flow down included, and your people approve it before it goes out for signature.

02CMMC status

Every vendor’s CMMC status, before award.

On DoD jobs, ask each vendor for its CMMC status printout from SPRS and its annual affirmation with the rest of its documents, and approve or reject each one before award.

03Weekly certified payroll

Every WH-347, every week.

Each vendor uploads its certified payroll every week on the same link as its contract. The reminders chase every missing week, and the tracker shows who’s cleared to be paid.

Without the AIYour team checks each WH-347 against the wage determination and approves or rejects it. With the AI on, each one is read line by line first, as in the window at the top.

ThenOn the record

Audit-ready, without a scramble.

Every request, upload, approval and rejection, with who and when, for every vendor on every job. Export it when a contracting officer, an auditor or a claim asks.

AI-first. AI optional.

The AI does as much as you let it. Or nothing at all.

One setting for the whole account. Work that restricts AI runs on Do it yourself, where no AI model touches your documents.

Do it yourself · No AI

Your team runs it.

For work that restricts AI: no AI model touches your documents, and every other feature works the same.

Done with you · The AI reads

The AI reads before you approve.

It reads each WH-347 against the wage determination and each certificate against your requirements, tells you whether to approve or reject and why, and drafts the message.

Done for you · The AI agent

Your AI agent chases it.

It asks each vendor for every missing week and document, answers their questions and sends rejections back on its own. Human in the loop or Auto mode.

Questions federal contractors ask

Answered the way we answer them on a demo.

What is subcontractor compliance software for federal contractors?
Software that collects and tracks what a federal prime needs from every vendor: weekly certified payroll, CMMC status on DoD work, bonds, insurance and lien waivers. Contracts Connected collects it through a vendor portal and files it audit-ready.
How does weekly certified payroll work?
Every vendor on a prevailing wage job uploads its WH-347 through the vendor portal each week. With the AI on, each one is read against the wage determination. Either way, late weeks are chased and every week shows on the tracker.
Do subcontractors on DoD jobs need CMMC?
Yes, when they’ll handle federal contract information or controlled unclassified information on a DoD contract. As of October 2026 that means a Level 1 or Level 2 self-assessment, since DoD suspended Phase 2 on July 13, 2026.
Some of our work restricts AI. Can we still use the system?
Yes. Set the account to Do it yourself and no AI model touches your documents. Your people run the same system: generate the package, send it, collect what comes back, review it and file it.
Where is our data hosted?
SOC 2 Type II. Hosted in the U.S. on AWS. TLS 1.2 or higher in transit. Private network. Monitored continuously, with Vanta.
Is the e-signature done in a separate signing app?
No. E-signatures are built in, with no separate signing app. Redlines and signatures happen in the document itself, and every action is on the audit trail.
How does the audit trail help when there is a claim?
Every action is on the record: what you sent, who approved it, what came back and when it was chased. When a contracting officer or a claim asks, you pull the record, not your email.
Do you work with 8(a), ANC, SDVOSB and WOSB firms?
Yes. The customers quoted here are 8(a) firms, among them ANC, SDVOSB and WOSB. Our co-founder ran a large federal general contracting firm for 15 years, and the product came out of that work.
Does it connect to our accounting system?
Yes. We integrate with the accounting and ERP systems you run, whether that’s Deltek Costpoint, Sage or something else. Each integration is worked out with you, case by case, and built and improved as you need it.
How much does it cost?
Contracts Connected starts at $416 a month on Foundation, with unlimited users, subcontractors and projects. Weekly certified payroll is an add-on, included on Max. See plans and pricing.
