Solutions · Certified payroll

Certified payroll software for construction: the AI checks every vendor’s WH-347 for you.

Every week, each vendor’s WH-347 comes in on one link, and the AI checks every line against the wage determination. Anything short goes back with exactly what’s owed, and your AI agent chases the late weeks.

In one paragraph

On a prevailing wage job, the prime collects every vendor’s certified payroll and answers for every line of it. In Contracts Connected each week’s WH-347 comes in on one link, the AI checks it against the wage determination the moment it lands, and your AI agent chases the weeks that are late.

How it works

The AI checks every payroll. Your AI agent chases the late weeks.

01Set it once

The wage determination goes in once.

Attach it to the project and every vendor’s payroll is read against it. Add a modification and the weeks after it are read against the new rates.

02Collected

Every vendor’s payroll, every week, without asking.

Vendors upload their WH-347 from the same link as their contract. A late week gets a reminder Monday and Wednesday morning until it’s in.

03Sent back

Anything short goes back with exactly what’s owed.

Your AI agent emails the vendor the worker, the week and the amount, from its own address. The vendor sends a corrected payroll, and the AI reads it the moment it comes in.

Without the AIPlenty of teams just use the tracker. Your reviewer rejects it with the reason, and the reminders chase the corrected one.

ThenCleared

You always know whose payroll is in.

Every vendor, every week, on one screen. A missing or rejected week keeps them from being cleared to be paid.

The AI does as much as you let it. Or nothing at all.

It's one setting for the whole account, and you can change it any time.

Do it yourself · No AI

Your team reviews each payroll.

Weekly collection, the Monday and Wednesday reminders, filing by week and the tracker all run. Your reviewer reads each payroll beside the wage determination. No AI model touches your documents.

Done with you · The AI reads

The AI reads every payroll.

Each WH-347 is checked against the wage determination, line by line, and you get accept or reject with the reason and the amount. You make the call.

Done for you · The AI agent

Your AI agent runs it end to end.

From its own email address it sends the fix, chases the late weeks, answers vendors’ questions and reads the corrected payroll. Human in the loop or Auto mode.

Questions people ask about certified payroll

The ones that come up on demos, and how we answer them.

Does it run payroll?
No. Your vendors’ payroll systems build their WH-347s. Contracts Connected is where the prime collects them every week, checks each one against the wage determination and keeps the record.
What does the AI check on a WH-347?
Every line against the wage determination: the classification, the rate and overtime, fringe paid to plans or in cash, the math from gross to net, apprentices, and the signed Statement of Compliance. It tells you accept or reject and why, with the amount when something’s short.
What happens when the wage determination changes?
Add the new modification to the project. The weeks after it are read against the new rates, and earlier weeks stay read against the rates that applied then.
Does the AI decide what gets accepted?
Only if you let it. On Human in the loop it recommends accept or reject with the reason and a person approves. On Auto mode it acts, and everything it does is on the record.
Can we use it without the AI?
Yes. Set the account to Do it yourself and no AI model touches your documents. Weekly collection, the reminders, filing by week and the tracker all work the same, and your reviewer reads each payroll.
What do our vendors see?
A link and a free account. They see which weeks are in, due and late, the reason for anything sent back, and where to upload. They never pay.
Is it only certified payroll?
No. The payroll sits in the same place as the contract, the COI, the W-9 and the lien waivers, so one row tells you whether a vendor can be paid.
How is it priced?
Weekly certified payroll is an add-on on Foundation and Core and included on Max. Without the AI there’s no AI charge, and the AI review uses credits as you go.
